Thank you for your interest in The Villa at San Mateo Apartments! We are glad you found us online! The Villa at San Mateo is an apartment Community for people 55 years and above. We are located minutes from I-280 and HWY 101, about 6 blocks from Cal Train and Hillsdale Mall, hospitals, restaurants, salons, Belmont, San Mateo Senior Centers and other great attractions such as the San Mateo Event Center and Bel Mateo Bowl. We offer one and two bedroom apartments that feature oversized windows, with heating and air-conditioning units in each room. In select apartments there are walk-in closets and private balconies. Our community boasts wonderful amenities such as free community Wi-Fi in our main lobby, a resource center/library, seasonally heated outdoor pool, barbeque area, coffee lounge, movie lounge, fitness center, game room and regularly scheduled resident activities such as bingo, resident happy hour, ice cream socials and fitness classes.Office Hours at The Villa at San Mateo

Lived at the Villa going on 10 years!
It has a great sense of community and a very helpful and friendly staff. We have a new manager, and she really seems to care about the Villa community and has a great refreshing flair for dressing up the common areas. Really like the accent on keeping up with the heritage of this older hotel motif from years ago!! One of my favorite activities here is the licensed exercise classes offered to the age appropriate group of residents. I have been going for the 10 years I have lived here, and I am sure it has prolonged my aging process!! I have been able to participate as a volunteer for most of my years here. It helps to be able to give back to the community we live in. You can enjoy the beautiful and clean swimming pool or just sit by it!! someone is always walking by, and it is nice to have conversations instead of just sitting in your apartment! The Villa is located in such a great spot, and you can walk to Molly Stone market, Walgreens, CVS, many hair and nail salons for local shopping access! If you have any problems associated with your apartment, I have found the staff is always quick to respond!! They offer many activities to "get you out of your apartment" if you so desire. I especially like the walking group on Saturday mornings! Very Very Happy Here!
