Wonderful community!
My experience at Allegro has been five star. The property manager was very helpful and the move-in process was pain free. The apartments are spacious and beautifully renovated. I couldn't be more pleased with the Allegro property.
Excellent Front Office Staff (Tina Chavez)!
I just wanted to thank Tina Chavez for all her help during my limited time for my apartment search. She was extremely professional and helpful throughout the entire application process. I'm hoping that there will be availability when I am ready to move in November!
Wonderful Office Staff
I have been working with Tina C. since July to prepare for a move to Albuquerque. I was extremely impressed with her professionalism while touring the apartments and her knowledge about the complex and what would be involved with a cross-country move. She has been a pleasure to work with throughout this process. I am looking forward to making Allegro my future home.
Great Staff
I have lived here for almost 2 years and have found both office and maintenance staff to be friendly, courteous and attentive to tenants needs. I recently experienced flooding and collapsing ceiling in a bathroom due to upstairs neighbors overfilled tub. Maintenance came in on a Saturday to check it and request neighbor to be more cautious when filling tub. The maintenance staff completed the repair professionally, always courteous and cleaning up after. Staff is awesome!
Love it here!
I really do love living here and am so glad I chose Allegro at Tanoan. The front office personnel are extremely helpful, the maintenance staff is exceptional, the neighbors are to die for (quiet and always friendly), the apartment itself is spacious and comfortable, and the area can't be beat. This is a wonderful place to live!
Management is professional and extremely helpful
Working with Yvette has been a pleasure. She has been extremely helpful in taking care of any and all issues I’ve experienced here at Allegro at Tanoan. She really takes the time in making sure that the families here are taken care of and that to me is an important factor when deciding where to live.
We love it here!
The staff is awesome, the location is great, it's quiet, and most importantly, we feel safe here. Recently a package storage unit was put in for the security of our packages & we were so happy because packages get stolen occasionally & we saw a UPS driver who had a knee injury, hauling a heavy package up the stairs. Since deliveries have gone up tremendously because we've all been at home, delivery drivers are expected to do a lot more. Bravo Allegro!!
Beautiful Rest with Excellent Service
At Allegro at Tanoan, you will find a beautiful home waiting for you every night after work or your travel. Spacious bedrooms, quiet neighborhood and wonderful music of nature as birds serenade you every day all day. And, if you happen to experience an issue with you appliances or anything, know it'll be fixed, whenever possible, within 24 hours. Simply call or go to the main office and you're be greeted by warm caring professionals ready to be of service. Tops down, best apartments in Albuquerque and surrounding area. Note: I'm a resident and haven't been paid for my review. Allegro at Tanoan truly is this amazing.
Move in experience
I moved into Allegro at Tanoan 2 days before Easter weekend. (Thursday April 1, 2021) First I want to thank Yvette for giving me a small discount on my apt to help me stay within my budget. The apt I moved into had been a model and not lived in for some time. I attribute most of the problems that I encountered in the first few days to this. The problems were no hot water, no water coming out of any of the hot water faucets, then only hot water from tub/shower faucet, tub didn’t drain, water not turning off right away at kitchen sink faucet, leak under bathroom sink, light bulb (uncommon) needing replacement in the laundry closet, washer not removing water during spin cycle, my entrance gate pin number not working, front door scraping loudly over the door plate. There is and continues to be water collecting right outside my apt from ?runoff or overflow from water heaters on floors above me. Due to weekend or scheduled vacation, some of the work was delayed until the day after Easter. I want to thank James, the Maintenance Supervisor, for his expertise in solving all of the apt related issues quickly and thoroughly and explaining certain aspects of the plumbing here, without making me feel stupid, though I was ignorant of how certain things operated. The front door scraping is a work in progress, which I feel confident will be completed soon. Richard and Gary were terrific when replacing the washing machine. They were fast, quiet, careful, and balanced the machine well. Gary is new to the maintenance team but was very empathetic and understanding of my concerns and the delay due to the weekend. Ann in the front office was my main contact person for reporting and following up on issues. She is real, sincere, grounded, supportive and very helpful in seeing that jobs are completed, and never objected to seeing me daily for a week, because as she said, ‘it’s her job and she loves it.’ She also solved the gate entrance problem for me. The water collecting daily outside the apartment is still a concern, and in my humble opinion, the water needs to be redirected away from the building so as to avoid safety issues, especially in winter when the water may freeze. All in all I am very happy to meet and know all of the team members and have relaxed into trusting that all concerns will be addressed and to simply enjoying living where I wanted to live. Appreciation
I’ve been a resident for over two years and have been impressed by the professionalism and response of the staff. I recently put in a maintenance request and it was responded to by Richard. He took the time to address the issue and gave me instructions on my future use. Also, Ann, the receptionist, is also very helpful and goes above and beyond to be very helpful to the tenants.
Followup to review 4-15-21
I just want to acknowledge that the water puddle problem outside my front door was corrected about 3wks ago and has been dry ever since. Also the scraping of the front door was greatly reduced and barely noticeable now. Thankyou so much James for attending to these issues. Now it is just pure enjoyment living in this beautiful place so close to the mountains. And so much birdsong daily!
Beautiful inside and out.
We moved in here about 2 weeks ago and I was amazed at how quiet it was and how beautiful the apartment and the property was. The residents here have been so friendly. Every time I am out walking my dog people smile and say hello. Reina and Ann in the office made it very easy to get moved in and were on top of any items that we needed resolved. James and Gary in maintenance were on the ball and did phenomenal work and James won my dogs heart over too. All in all a great first 2 weeks and experience.

I recently had a severe plumbing incident and had to call for emergency help on a Sunday. James was here to help me within 20 minutes and spent several hours fixing the issue, calling in carpet people who removed affected carpet. Carpet people were here on Monday and came to replace it on Thursday. Ann in the front office helped me deal with all the issues with the carpet layers. My thanks to the staff for making a difficult situation so much easier.
Beauty
The maintenance crew do a superb job. The whole crew is a class act. We were really happy with every maintenance request they fulfilled for us. James is the leader of the maintenance crew, and he is the nicest person. Such a good guy. He really cares and so does Richard, and all of the maintenance crew does too. High fives to them all around. The management changed while we were there...and honestly at first I was hard on the new manager Reina. I'd felt frustrated with the previous management and just kinda jaded from that...but I have to say, Reina is doing a great job. She takes her job seriously, and is a task master. When she came on board we noticed a big improvement compared to the previous managers. So I have to hand it to her for coming into a situation where people may have been bitter about some of the old managers' ways, and keeping her chin up and just making sure to give residents the best service possible. Our apartment was beautiful. We had vaulted ceilings, a huge deck, and the best view of Sandia Mountains. Our neighbors were really nice, and the whole community is welcoming, friendly, and seem like good people all around. The gym has great equipment too! One last thing, the area of Allegro is absolutely where you want to live. It's very nice, and the access to hiking within 5 minutes, is something else. There are so many beautiful hiking trails very close by. Also, it's a nice area, well groomed, beautiful houses, green grass everywhere, pretty trees and flowers, and again, the views of the Sandia Mountains so close by are really breathtaking.
New Apt Manager and team doing a great job!
When I moved in, in April 2021, the prior management never went over the rather expensive utilities directly connected to Allegro at Tanoan ie. water, sewer, trash, valet trash pickup from your apt, and CAM or common area maintenance fees. I wrongly assumed the ‘valet trash service’ was optional. It isn’t and it turns out, at $39/month it is the most expensive of all the utilities including my PNM and NM Gas bills. I understand if people want/need this service that they choose to pay for it. I do not and I feel the cost is exorbitant for my small needs. I felt resentment toward the previous management team for not making this clear up front. Also the company that manages the utility bills for Allegro At Tanoan started out charging me for a 2 person occupancy apt. I live alone. My experience with Ann and in particular Reina, has been very beneficial. They are both clear, honest, and upfront. They tell you the truth, in a kind and straightforward way and if something needs to be changed and they have the power to do so, they will get it changed, quickly and efficiently. I am very thankful to both of them for listening to my frustrations on a number of occasions, and for not taking it personally or gaslighting me. Reina, Ann, and James (maintenance) are a great, hardworking, organized, responsible team and they seem to genuinely care about doing a great job, taking care of the humans with all our idiosyncracies and offering the best possible experience of living in a beautiful apt complex and area of Albuquerque. Extremely professional response always
The staff of Allegro are extremely professional and care. The staff always are fast to respond to all issues I have brought up. The staff follow up on all issues to ensure It was resolved efficiently and professionally. The staff maintain a safe and clean environment of the Allegro Apartment complex. The staff have a warm and welcome response, while always maintaining a higher standard of professional quality. This makes it a great living environment.
Complement Ann and James
I would like to complement both Ann and James for the outstanding job they do. While the apartment manager was recently out for a few weeks, Ann was by herself in the office, as the assistant manager had not yet been hired. There were times she had several people in the office and the phone was ringing off the hook. She was always very professional with the residents giving them the attention they needed while attempting to meet their requests. Additionally there was several weeks that James was without help for maintenance of the apartments. He too was a great asset. He was always helpful and patient with the residents although being pulled in multiple directions. Allegro @ Tanoan is very fortunate to have both Ann and James as a part of the team!!!
Maintenance
Maintenance crew did an awesome job in cleaning out dryer filter, so my dryer is actually drying! They were timely, professional and thorough, cleaning up too.

Hello I wanted to leave a review for the incredible and amazing Staff Allegro At Tanoan has Miss Ann in the office has helped me so much and is a big reason my family move here and the maintenance cowboy Randy was such a help with the apartment I just love love this staff! Ann Trumbo is amazing
The staff at allegro at Tanoan is amazing and I want to specifically Thank Ann Trumbo for the most amazing tour. My employees and I toured the location in January and Ann was simply amazing. You can tell she really cares about helping people and takes her job seriously. We have toured other apartments and her presentation and customer service exceed anything we received anywhere else in the state. The location was great, but the Ann was unforgettable. thanks for the amazing tour and look forward to working with you in the future.
Staff
I went to office with questions. She took care of my concern and let me know it was resolved. She is the BEST, always showing concern for residents. She takes the time to get to know us and make us feel at home at Allegro. And, she takes care of business. She gets things done.
A Wonderful Home
What a great place to live and call home, the people/staff are so nice and the area is absolutely beautiful. We had lots of questions before move in, & Ann the manager was very helpful and quick to meet all our needs. I definitely recommend!

The Community Manager Johana Ramirez is an amazing employee. On a particular busy day while being understaffed, she took extra time to assist me with a smile on her face. It's rare to see someone nowadays go out of their way to make a person's day better. I can't thank her enough for assisting me with the parcel lockers and important packages I needed access to.
